Screening Process

The following are the details of our screening process

Script Evaluation:

The agency may start by evaluating the submitted scripts. They assess the quality, marketability, and potential of the script to determine if it's ready for pitching.

Packaging:

If a script has potential, the agency may assist in packaging it for pitching. This includes creating a compelling pitch package that may consist of a logline, synopsis, treatment, and marketing materials.

Industry Connections:

Script pitch agencies often have established relationships with industry professionals. They leverage their connections to identify potential buyers or collaborators who might be interested in the script.

Pitching:

The agency acts as an intermediary between the writer and potential buyers or producers. They arrange meetings or pitch sessions, either in person or virtually, where the writer can present their script and pitch to industry decision-makers.

Negotiation:

If there's interest from a producer or production company, the agency may assist in negotiations, including discussing terms, contracts, and compensation.

Script Development:

Some script pitch agencies also offer script development services to help writers fine-tune their scripts based on feedback from industry professionals.

Marketing and Promotion:

Agencies may help promote the script to a wider audience, including film festivals, screenplay competitions, and industry events.

Feedback and Revisions:

They may provide feedback from industry professionals after pitches and help the writer make necessary revisions to increase the script's appeal.

Legal and Contractual Support:

Script pitch agencies often assist in legal matters, including contracts, copyright protection, and ensuring that writers' interests are safeguarded during the negotiation process.

Screenwriter Representation:

In some cases, a script pitch agency may offer representation services to the writer, acting as their agent in dealings with producers and studios.

Follow-Up:

They may follow up with industry professionals to track progress and maintain relationships, even after a pitch session has taken place.

Consultation:

Our partners accross globe work with the creative team provide consultation as required before pitching.

Multiple Platforms:

Script pitch agencies may pitch scripts globally for various platforms, including feature films, television series, streaming content, and more, depending on the writer's goals.

It's important for writers to carefully research and choose a reputable script pitch agency with a track record of success and transparent practices. While script pitch agencies can provide valuable assistance in getting a screenplay noticed, they often work on a commission-based model, earning a percentage of any deals or sales they facilitate. Writers should be cautious and review all agreements before signing with an agency.

Ultimately, a script pitch agency acts as an advocate for screenwriters, helping them navigate the competitive world of the film and television industry and increasing their chances of getting their projects produced.
